I'm here and I'm still alive.
Some updates.
Writing
I'm finishing some stories I've written. I mean finished for good, as in I'm no longer allowed to put them aside and say "I can make this better". I've started a series of short stories that I have to fix up. They all take place in the same storyline but many are from different perspectives. They are about a secret war that borders on alien invasion and rebellions against current governments all in one.
Music
I've started writing and composing three songs for a project I am calling The G Strain. It will be Electronic/Industrial. Synths, effects, guitars, orchestration, REAL SINGING, and some yelling (because I've gotta!). I have also been working on a cover song (shiver... I think it's pretty damn good though). Once I have a few songs completed I will solicit bandmates. If you play something and think you might be interested, keep an eye out.
Clubs
My little brother is the head DJ at Rapture, Saturday nights at Club Orpheus. It's been a pretty good time.
Last weekend was the Slave Auction. That was a blast! This coming weekend is their Pre-Halloween party. I have my costume mostly figured out.
Life
It's kicking my ass. Almost everything will have changed by January. I'll have moved (not far mind you), acquired a new job, my social life is in the process of a revamp, and my car should be all better! Yay!
I have to thank my friends for being so great to me (though none of my close friends are on SG, they still deserve a shout imho).
