Went to the Legion of Honor yesterday. It was absolutely beautiful. I've not been to a museum recently and was rather itching to go. Walked quite a bit and almost wanted to kill myself (why does everything cool in San Francisco have to be on top of a huge hill?) and was of course, nice and damp after arriving at the museum (because we never do anything on sunny days... only rainy ones). I was really excited though because not only does the Legion have an excellent Rodin collection (including a cast of "The Thinker"), but also some good Monet, including "Water Lillies"! Huzzah. I was very very excited. I also got to hear a pops concert on one of the hugest antique organs I've ever seen. Was awesome.
After the museum we headed over to our local(ish) mall and wandered around. I got a few new books and some sandals. Sadly I didn't realize until today that I left my umbrella somewhere in the mall. Which is rather disappointing because I specifically bought my umbrella because not only is it HUGE but it was black with white polka dots. Sad Day. Now I get to call all the mall stores to see if anyone was nice enough to turn it in for me.
*fingers crossed*
