It's a rainy day in Toulouse and i'm all wrapped up inside in the warmth of a little apartment.
Friday night was spent experimenting and indulging at a new rum bar So much fun, but rum seems to make me a little over confidant? For some strange reason I had an overwhelming urge to slap a smart car? Sadly, the owner of the car didn't appreciate it and I got a nice telling off, which sort of wanted to make me slap him. Thankfully I didn't act on the second childish slapping urge. I really thought I would grow up gracefully, but Im starting to think it's just not going to happen. So yesterday was spent recovering in bed, watching old kung fu movies and eating yummy things. Basically, I have done worth writing a blog about, and yet here I am, procrastinating, because I don't want to work
Am I the only 30something struggling with growing up ? I cant imagine life without video games, drunken adventures, naughtiness, smoking and having great nights with great friends. But we are dropping like flies. Between uptight partners and a lot of new babies I fear my kind are heading for extinction... So now I wonder, am I the female equivalent of the 'midlife crisis man' dying his hair, driving his sports car and trying to pick up young hotties?
Anyway, off to work
