is having nothing to say, then saying you have nothing to say, negate the whole concept of having nothing to say?
not that I don't have anything to say, I just thought I'd throw that out there.
May is upon us and it's always around this time of the year when I think, "where has the year gone?" This year I can tell you: work. I have been busy, almost more than I can remember in the near past. Somebody is getting rich off my hard hours, cause it's not me! I get the bills paid, have some gas money, and a little left over for whatever. Maybe I shuold ask for a raise? Hmm, maybe.
Bought some herbs to plant in my window box. My rosemary died in the heat and because I couldn't water it while on the road. This year I have orange thyme (yes, it smells just like oranges), more rosemary, and something called Stevia rebaudiana. It taste like honey suckle and the leaves are suppose to be 300 times sweeter than sugar. I'll dry it and put it with my tea or plant some mint and mix the two in a mojito. I always like using the fresh herbs compared to dried ones. The flavors are so much richer. I'm eager to see just what kind of combinations I can come up with for my little garden.
Not much is going on this weekend. I have some work to do at the office, but hopefully I can get some serious Cinco partying in. No better way to support immigration than embracing another's culture. And who doesn't like a party??
