I discovered the train that goes from Harvard to Chicago today. It costed me 5 dollars for an unlimited rides train ticket all weekend back and forth. And the place is only 20 miles from my house. A lot better than the normal 90 mile trip to Chicago. I save 35 dollars on average going there than driving all the way to Chicago.
Hell yeah.
So I went to Chicago to the Meet'n'Greet and met too many SG people to list with any accuracy because I'm way tired, but I was surrounded by cool cats and foxy ladies. It was awesometastic. Unfortunately I had to leave way way early so I could catch the last train home. I got in right around 3am.
Fortunately, I'm going back again tomorrow for the Full Frontal BBQ being held by CamusClues. I love Chicago more than any other place in the history of ever, and I feel truly at home when I'm there at the same time as I'm experiencing a sense of awestruck wonder for every little thing that I see. I will move there one day soon.
June 18, hopefully I'll be testing for a sheriff's deputy position. Let's get this cop career on the road!
