Hello kiddies,
Another day, another dollar. It's so nice to be able to say that. It's Good Friday today (duh) so I'm only working a half day.That's pretty rocking. Last night, I interviewed at Radioshack for a second job, part time on the nights and weekends. And pending a criminal background check (which I'll ace), I've got it in the bag.
I went from neutral to overdrive for one very simple reason.
When everything you know is gone, and everything you love is in danger of being lost to you, there is no choice left but war. And none can fight but you, only a hero can turn the tide.
The fact of the matter is that I will not feel like I'm useless, without momentum or direction. I won't be made to feel as though I'm hanging off the edge of a precipice by only a fingernail grip. I won't be made to rely completely on someone else and be under their mercy. I will not allow myself to be killed piece by piece ever again. Not. Ever. Again.
