saw a hemphiliac patient today who contracted HIV in the early 80s through blood transfusions, and then had developed full-stage AIDS by 1986. the guy is now completely healthy, and is about to have a kid. its somewhat comforting to know that those kind of patients are out there, but i think its more depressing that he is possibly the only patient i will see with such a good story about the 80s and AIDS.
