"No moleste, por favor."
Today has been such a lovely day so far. It was my first day off of from the studio in quite some time, and although I am sure I will end up there tonight, I decided to take advantage of the free time. Did I do anything spectacular? No, not at all. But, I am going to share some pictures nonetheless.
First off, I woke up and got my day started off right. Generally, I am a tea drinker, but this morning, Cuban coffee was calling my name. Besides, using one of these is super fun.
I went to find my faithful companion, Pickles, to see if he wanted to join me on any adventures today, but this was basically his take on that notion.

After realizing Pickles had a serious case of the fuck-its, I opted to head outside to read the newspaper, enjoy my coffee, catch the sunrise, and plan my day. I noticed this little gentleman hanging around in a palm tree, and then creep down on the fence. He sat in this exact position for almost an hour, watching me drink my coffee and read.

I remembered that it was Sunday morning, which meant that it was outdoor organic market day, so I took a walk down to the beach to get some good organic food. The sun had come up a bit more, and started to break through the gnarly-looking clouds.

I walked over to this little rocky area while I was waiting for the market to open, and got an inadvertent action shot of a pelican, and got to see some baby White Tip Sharks. Cute little buggers. Look close, there are 4 or 5 of them down there.

I loaded up on all sorts of organic nonsense, and walked back home to drop it off. I ventured back down to the beach, and decided that I needed some lunch. A day like today calls for one thing, and one thing only. You guessed it, Molcajete. It is this Mexican dish that comes in a pig-shaped bowl made from lava rock. I have no idea what is actually in it, but it is possibly the most wonderful thing on the planet.

Then, I stumbled across a new comic shop I had not been to before, and remember my beautiful friend over in Norway, and her aspirations to become the Nerd Queen of Scandinavia. Unfortunately, they don't have much in the way of access to comics and the ever-necessary nerd memorabilia from the good old U.S. of A., so I decided to start a little "Nerd Survival Kit" for her. It is a work in progress, and is far from complete, but I think I am off to a good start. Walking Dead graphic novels (She is a big zombie fan, like me.), vintage Batman from the 1970s (Makes sense to start reading Batman from the early days before you get into all the new craziness. Besides, vintage stuff is super fun.), a Neil Gaiman comic book from the mid-90s (She is a big fan of Neil Gaiman, and this is a pretty rare comic, so it was a no-brainer.), and of course, a super random t-shirt featuring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. Every girl's dream. You aren't shit if you don't have one of these bad boys.

I started walking home from the beach, and noticed a sign that has one of the most important rules in the world.

Anyway, now I am home, and planning to go out and do a little wakeboarding while the weather is nice, and maybe go for a dive. I am sure I will end up working on music all night, but there is always time to cram my junk into a wetsuit on a Sunday. Those pictures may or may not be posted this evening. We'll see. I'll be back later, unless I get my hands on some Panthers tickets for tonight's game. I looove me some hockey. Good afternoon, folks.
Sidenote..if you read all of this, you are crazy. I rambled on about what I did today, and none of it was interesting. It was like a bad Twitter feed. Shame on you.

Exactly. I like your style, my dear. Good luck feeding him though. He eats like a herd of elephants. I have never seen anything like it.
