Greetings, friends--
Before I start my spiel, I'd like to introduce you to my very newest friend on the site... the charming ScareCrowe!
THIS JUST IN... THIS JUST IN... the encore set from Chie has just gone up!
Meantime... I am now exactly HALF WAY through the run of ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND at the Paper Wing Theatre, and I'm not sure exactly what I tapped into last night, but it was off the proverbial HOOK. Last week I had my daughter in the audience--and tonight it's my wife (hey, childcare, night shifts, they couldn't come together, that's just how it's gotta be) who checks out the show while my daughter attends her senior prom!!!
Yep, it's a pretty big weekend for all of us...
Now, speaking of all things ALICE? I would greatly appreciate your paying a visit to the brand-new set from my friend Terrestrial. It's been almost a year since we've seen her in action, and wouldn't you just know it? She's got an ALICE IN WONDERLAND adventure of her own for us!
And I am frankly baffled at the poor reception this set has been receiving. Here's someone going the extra mile--working hard to provide something special and unique. Sure, it's non-traditional, but you know what? I don't believe this site was ever supposed to be described with the word "traditional." Here's what it's all about... ALTERNATIVE beauty--fantasy--imagination! This is the sort of work you just DON'T see every day... look again!
My friends, I've seen more than my share of worthy Hopeful Friendlies being unjustly ignored and passed over--but rarely have I seen something go as unfairly off the scale as this. Of COURSE I have a personal bias--you do an ALICE IN WONDERLAND set and you're going to get my IMMEDIATE attention... you're talking to Chester the Cat, after all!
And after the critical thumping WE took (see past blog), there's no way I'm not going to LEAP to the defense of someone who deserves it!
Right some wrongs and fight some crime! Share some love... and I'll see you at ALICE and on MANOR Memory Lane!
