My birthday was deliberately hidden away. Ah.
I avoided an ex in Chicago, flirted with a cousin-in-law(?), and later crashed a table of 3 young ladies at the pub. It's like a trifecta!
Except I had to screw it up. A friend wants to hang out on Sunday, and she plans on going to the bar with me where I re-introduce myself to the 3 girls who were so friendly last week. (Except she doesn't know that, of course.) I should've lied and told her I had a blind date I was going with. If I was smart, canny, or adept in lying.

the hard part is remembering to save your tax money. you get a check and... wheeee! money to spend.
i'm not terribly worried about getting hired. if i'm not good enough at the job in 6 months that they would want to hire me, then it's probably not someplace i should be working anyway. unless there's some kind of secret handshake you'd like to let me in on.
so far it is hard, because it's not at all what i'm used to doing. hopefully i'll get better fast. i'm usually good at picking up new stuff.
