I'm mostly recovered from my bout with insanity. I even managed it without standard standbys, like alcohol, sex, drugs, or loud music. Okay, so the drugs part is extra, but I survived, nonetheless.
I've been planning on getting a pool table for my apartment for 6+ months. I couldn't find a decent, cheap table in stores, and scouring craigslist for a used one was painful. I went shopping yesterday with a friend, and did the deed (bought the table new, that is).
It gets delivered two Mondays from now, meaning I have another 8 days to think about how I *should* have spent the money. And that it's not too late. Except it probably is. And I leave town 3 days after I get it, coming back for the 4th.
Tonight is Mountain Goats - I'm going after a discssion with some friends in san diego. (Alyssa does a shoutcast occassionally, where the rest of us huddle in AIM chat, hanging out.) They're fans of Mountain Goats, and the couple of requests she had, it sounded good. Neumo's, tonight.
