Senseless
I opened my eyes and its true. Tired and sore, today I woke a thousand miles away from my home, a thousand miles from my heart, a thousand miles from me. I picked my head up and stood, thankful that at least my bones traveled with me. Try to think think of anything else Work is starting soon I better study. Dirty clothes mean I should be doing laundry and she is so beautiful. If I close my eyes again I can feel her arms around me. I can feel her lips on mine. I can smell her close to me. Stop! Think of ANYTHING else... obviously a thousand miles from my brain as well.
Am I drowsy? I can barely walk. Everything is fuzzy. Is this a dream? Maybe you were a dream. Have I lost all my senses? I see your smile, I hear your breath, I smell your scent, I feel your touch, and I taste you. I want that.
Broken to pieces, how can I function? A shower, breakfast, errands all small tasks waiting for completion. I just need to get myself together. Ill make a list. Ill wear these clothes. Nothing to it but to do it, just one foot in front of the other. But Im walking in circles. All these bags and boxes, one must contain the missing pieces of me. Dig, dig, dig. They must be somewhere. 6 bags of clothes and a few boxes is all I have here but there were so so many more. Only one person with the key to the rest of my things. Can I beg one last favor? Find it for me? Bring it to me? Bring you to me? Its just a short thousand miles away.
