I'd like to thank everyone for their heartfelt congratulations on my recent success in the job market. The first week has gone as well as I had expected but I have a feeling that I'm being tasked with creating a division and it's entire procedural doctrine. . . Rah Rah Rah.
I'm off to Philadelphia for a few days (i.e. all next week) so I...

aryn:
AWESOME!!!! Congrats!!
Update: hehehehe I think I'll have to do that more than once a month, update that is, not getting naked playing strip connect four.
So I'm thinking about getting an open event started perhaps at the Rocket Grill for some good ol'fashion Karaoke.
On a happy note my shortly lived fight with unemployment has finally ended and I've taken a fun and interesting position in...

I thought it was really great meeting you? Wanna to get married?
I wanted to throw out a thank you to the folks that said hello and patted me on my little head when it was down, I'll try to not shite on the computer anytime in the near future.
On the bright side one of my yule/christmas presents this year was a screenplay formating program so now I'm left without excuses for finishing the damn stories.......

Sorry to hear you went through a bad patch, man! Are you going to be able to make it out to my place on the 21st? Love to see you two there.
Oh, and which screeplay program is it? I've been in the market for one.

it takes a great deal of strength to accept the fact that you have weaknesses.

You really seem like a nice guy. Oh course the problem that nice guys have the world over (I'm in the same boat) is that they are more concerned over what other people are thinking and feeling and making those people feel special or loved. It just doesn't leave much room for personal time and what is worse you find that most people will leave unsaid their appreciation for all the times you've been there for them and been their "punching bag." There is a point where you feel what is the use I'm trying so hard to please others I'm absolutely failing to please myself. Then it all comes crashing in and you just desperately want to be selfish and give yourself some "me time" and then you start feeling guilty because now you feel like an insensitive jerk. I guess it's really about finding that balance between the two. But until then BE SELFISH. Take some ME TIME and find out what you really like and don't like about yourself. Be objective and brutally honest, then step back, formulate a plan of attack and make those life changes step by step. I'm cheering for you!
The SGDC Meet and Greet went well and the new pics are posted. Thanks to all who came out and to those that continued the event into the wee hours of the morning. Special shout out to BenzoVodka who made his first event and managed to dance to 90 percent of the music at the club afterwards.. Yes red bull gives him wings.....
ultraman:

Well so long to the old proflie pic and say hello to the new one. Yes that is me sporting a week old mohawk which sadly met it's untimely demise at around 1100 today. silvereve seemed to love it and although it made me feel agressive and ready to stomp any yuppie I saw I decided to clip it to return to the world of...

I was wondering for a while if I should've looked for seasonal work...
Can I ask what type of products are being demonstrated?
ps- If you all want me to drop by with my Sealab DVD sometime, I can show you my fave ep, without Estrada in it, the pilot ep they made in their basement (well, apartment) for a couple hundred bucks before they even knew a network would buy it.

Hang in there, big man. They may be too distracted by mistletoe now, but come the new year employers'll be smitten with your qualities and your character.
Too bad the yuppie-stomping haircut has passed; there's still plenty of stomping to be done.

silvereve's birthday was this weekend and we decided to head out to the Rocky Horror Picture show in Fairfax. A group of happy folks showed up to sample my cooking (turkey and dumplings w/ homemade biscuits), and my attempt to make a traditional Norweigen Birthday Cake (it was close). So thank you saintinsomniac, cheech, and aryn for coming over and playing some...

Two games now that Brunell has totally tanked in the fourth quarter (although Royal has certainly "made a name" for himself with this game). Maybe they need Ramsey to relieve? They do it in baseball...
Well happiness it seems is a bag of bones. . . You knew what they where when you buried them but damn if you can put them back together again. . . hehehehe. . . Guess I'm feeling a little morbid today.

Well, it's always good to pace yourself. Like, for instance, you can buy me shots of Booker's at Vermillion. (Yeah, they have some massive bar-rarities there.)

Also, just remembered- I had a dream last night that the Super Bowl was the Steelers against.... the San Antonio Riders?? I've never thought the Seahawks were that bad, so I don't know where that came from. I actually think they have a great D and running game; I just don't know what to expect from Hasselbeck + the WRs/ TEs.
Thank you for sharing the e.e. cummings poem with me. I am rather fond of him.
