thing is, both Plaid and Autechre are duos, but I suppose you gotta bring a lot to the table if you're gonna join up with the Aphex-pusher crew...

you should get up this year, the weather's great!
whiskeyfightpit:
Dude, the sober bus is my mode o' transpo as well. We've got mad love for the hero. Keep up the fight.

Don't stay in bed...you'll end up like Howard Hughes or Brian Wilson. Who would want to be THOSE fucking guys???

lately I've just been trying to beef up my collection with older tunes.

As for new-ish stuff, I've really been digging the Amen Andrews series on Rephlex, its Luke Vibert's dnb side project, very funky old-skool ragga-ish vibe.

Pendulum is getting pretty well known lately, excellent tech-infused production anthems.

But if I were to recomend one producer it would be Calibre. For the last year or so this guy has put out consistently great tunes on his own label, Signature, and others. His sound is somewhere between the soul-ed out funk of Marcus Intalex and some good ol' jump-up. Crisp and clean production from this guy. Try and find his newest on the Signature label "Highlander" b/w "Mr.Maverick".

Sorry to hear about the 12"s, its like losing children...
