Hohoho, hope everyone's enjoying their holiday season!
For me, the worst time is over. There's nothing worse for a single to spend christmas days by themelf but hey, what are friends for. We went out yesterday and had a fab evening and today I'm out with a friend to the movies and Monday I'm back at work, urrrrgh!
Also, the U 20 World juniors have started and in Davos the Spengler cup is taking place, I LOVE HOCKEY!!
The one wish I had for christmas probably won't come true....for now, but you never know what next year will bring and I hope Canada will be on my travelling schedule! Mary, I'm coming!
I decided that next year I will also support (that means, I'll actually do) voluntary work in Zurich, I'll go visit eldery homes where people live who don't have any family anymore and just need someone to go drink a coffee or go for a walk in the park or simply want to talk. It's important to me that I don't loose focus on whats really important in life and not only whats important for me as an individual.
That's all for now folks, love you all (especially you, MG!)

Thanks for dropping by my blog, 2009 was a fine year for me it felt just like a beginning of many things though.
but i totally feel you about the spending christmas by yourself, i've been traveling alone for the first time this christmas time and it doesnt feel that bad but it doesnt feel great either....
About the voluntary work, it sounds amazing, sharing time with elderly people is so great, i always love hearing their stories, they have memories i wish i would have lived... but then again i always want to live so many things that its fine for me.
About my moving, well... im not sure of europe it will all depend on where i find a job quickly, i kind of liked the states when i was there, in europe i have only been to italy and spain, i want to move to a place where the colors are vivid thats for sure.... too much gray time kind of kills me at some point, i could maybe try painting the new gray cities, right?
Again, best wishes for this next year i do hope you do Great!
Love , M
Well, i actually come from south america, still like that Argentina would be another option for me down there, im located in central south america at the moment, however right now im italy just until christmas is done and will flight back to the states and then home by the 12th of January.
Italy is like you said wet and grey... not my favorite things but then the change is good, it makes me realize why i love the sun so much and the colors.
About choosing places i loved Denver, i was there like 2 weeks ago and im in love with the people and the place, however im a coast/beach person so moving to a mountain area would be like going home and the opposite side too...
i was in Ny that was a long time dream like a week ago but its really hectic, i dont know if i could live there... still i want to try different cities and maybe live here and there and everywhere for a few years until i settle forever which wont be that Eveeeer cause traveling is great
my hometown is a valley in between mountains but the beach is an hour away, everything is so close, but i moved from there to another city 6 years ago, so now i live near a lake and the sun shines 365 days a year most of the time, its always warm and sunny and with vibrant colors <3
And here in italy i have been hanging with an elder lady every now and then and its great, she has great stories when she traveled 50 years ago to Venezuela, that is my country! <3
