Haven't been on here in forever. Life is good, mostly. Swampscott is still nice. Most weekends we're out and about, but I'm spending this Friday night rearranging my living room and thoroughly enjoying it. Al's at National Guard weekend and having a little space and time completely to myself is lovely. I'm pretty sure that all that time and space is going to feel very overwhelming and not very lovely in January when he goes away for training for 4 months, but for now, 48 hours of watching whatever I want on TV and eating cereal for dinner is awesome!
Still looking for a great full-time Boston design gig. My current role is pretty good -- I work three days a week as the Creative Director for a Back Bay PR firm -- but it's not particularly fulfilling creatively and, while it pays the bills, it certainly could pay better. I'll keep that in mind, although I have little connections in that world.
The cheap-ass bran flakes from Shaw's. Sometimes Maple-Frosted Shredded Wheat. But mostly the bran flakes. I don't know what it is about them. But they're cheap and delicious!
