well I have a happy update for all. I found a job at the end of April and have been working since! I got a temp assignment working at the Bank of America call center. It pays well, goes through the end of the year, and I have weekends off so I can still be in King Richard's Faire. (Which, by the way I'll be doing again this year.) 
I have signed a 1year lease on the apartment I'm at and have locked the rate at 750 a month. Not bad for a 3 bed on the outskirts of Providence, eh?
