Theres one thing I would really like to understand within the span of my life:
Why (oh whyyyyy) do people use bright red lipstick and nailpolish????
Back in Germany all the cute girls around usually have nice, short and usually uncolored finger- and toenails and decently colored lips.
Red lipstick and red nailpolish are only worn by very old and wrinkled women who (wrongly) think they might still have a slight chance of getting laid. They use the red color hoping (again wrongly) to divert the observers attention from their unpleasant natural looks.
For some odd reason most of the suicidegirls (who are totally georgeous otherwise) tend to pile this awful red color on their nails and lips. But why???
Is it one last desparate measure trying not to look too cute???
Please, tell me...
By the way:
tattoos and piercings are something completely different. They usually look brilliant (well, most of them...)

And for the record, I think I may have to be buried in these shoes before I take them off.
As for your question in your entry, I only wear bright reds for effect in the occasional silly picture. If I went out like that in public I'd scare people!
