I've been fortunate to be a part of many projects, and programs. There is no such thing as a small role. Everyone plays their part in making these productions come to life. I truly enjoy learning new things on a variety of sets. If you know anything about "extra life", then you know it's a lot of hurry up..to wait. I've truly enjoyed meeting so many people, from all ages, and all walks of life. I'm overcoming my health issues. As the handicapable, tenacious, stroke survivor, that I am. It's far from utilizing my teaching, and psychology degrees. Although I find myself teaching and guiding newbies on set. I am a fast learner, and even better instructor. I have practiced stairs, run, was my own stunt double, and constantly try to help wherever I can. Please don't be disillusioned, they are long days. Usually 10-15hrs. Some are overnight. The last overnight I participated in, I could see my breath. So it's far from glamorous. With my health issues, I often suffer a great deal on set...and when I return home, the cookie crumbles. Leaving me to recuperate, for many days following filming. Thank goodness for medicinal assisting me in contending with extreme pain, nausea, and a host of other symptoms. Don't worry Dr. recommended, and approved. I choose to smile through my pain, and struggles. Most people are unaware of my suffering. I appreciate this community for accepting me as I am. Flaws and all.
Here's a list of some of the programs you may catch a glimpse of me in. Succession, Billions, Folk, Pretty Little Liars on HBOMAX, Gossip Girl, Poker Face, Lyle the Crocodile out end of 2022, HVCC commercials, Amazon's Mr and Mrs Smith, I was in a thriller recently where I performed my own stunt, getting "shot", I have done a PSA, comedy web series, I'm still working on Symphonia which is an Indie feature film. There are more.. It's nice because eventually you start to run into some of the same people. While still making new connections. One of the male actors I met, is now modeling for my up and coming production company. He was in one of my fashion shows already. I have so many goals and aspirations. Fortunately I am tenacious to a fault. I make the most out of what I can do, instead of focusing on what I can't do. June 9th is the 8yr mark since surviving a major stroke. Relearning to walk, talk, and use the right side of my body again. Remember to never give up on yourself, even if others do.!!!!If anyone is interested in participating in these types of opportunities, please let me know, and I can help you get started. I also have the Inclusion Magazine dropping to lead the Inclusion Movement. @jadestoner will be featured in the first one. Please let me know if you're interested in participating. Let's normalize tattoos, a variety of ages, represent all body types, regardless of height, weight, nationality, alternative model, and mainstream models, able-bodied, and handicapable. I'm currently based in NY, about 3 hrs north of the city. I travel for work, so planning a photo shoot is definitely a possibility, or you can email submissions to me.
I'm so grateful for the support from this amazing community.!! I'll never forget where I got my start. They say you can't do alternative modeling, and go to mainstream. Well I am proof that's not true.. I have walked in and produced New York City Fashion Shows. Don't worry I'm culling my 15th hopeful set currently for submission. I'll increase my time going live again.. because I miss you all.. Someone has to appreciate my lingerie 😉. I know that I need to blog more, and hope to do cooking segments, included in my live feeds. Goals. Please know I'm not ignoring, nor have I forgotten where I got my start, in the talent industry. I'm proud to tell people about this wonderful community. Without @rambo recruiting me in 2016, I wouldn't be where I am today. Knocking down barriers. Not just for myself, but for others also. I try to help others wherever I go.
Special thanks to @missy for creating this forum. @penny @lemon
