I just tested this cleaning your brushes tutorial, but I used soy oil (olive oil is a little expensive in Brazil, so almost no one use olive oil to cook, only as a spice for salad), and here in Brazil I didn't found the Brush Guard, so I used a small piece of paper (a used one, a bill paper, cuz they make bills with a harder paper, so you can't say to them that your dog just ate...). You just get the piece of paper, wrap around your brush and stick it together with any adhesive (you can use post it too)

I <3 olive oil! It tastes good on everything. Maybe not brushes though.
