Ello,

I have had a pretty awesome weekend, very event filled.

Friday: I took a 3hr long drive to Madrid, IA for the Iowa SG camp out. I was excited to finally get to hang out with the group! I left around 5pm, and I got there around 7:30pm. Not gonna lie, when I got there I didn't know what to expect or how to find the campsite. I think it was all the nerves tho. So I ventured out and found my way. I finally found the right parking lot. I was excited that I had to "hike" to my campsite. I felt so bad-ass that I had to do that. I am not used to that, they don't have any camp sites like that here. It was awesome!

So I get out of my car..and I start walking towards the hiking path. AND I SEE HIM..or at least I think its him. Lulz I waited a little longer and as we got closer, It was then, I was positive it WAS him! (We met my first year of college,I have not seen this kid in nearly 2 yrs.) So I yelled out, Hey how are you? what are you doing here?.. at first I don't think he recognized me. He had a confused look on his face and he was like "good.. camping, you..?" he responded with that very awkward confused voice, but as he got closer to me, and realized who I was he changed his tone. He was like "Oh. OMG hey!" Lulz.. We got to catch up on each others lives in about 5 mins. Then he asked me if I wanted help finding my site, and I took him up on his offer because this was my first time out at this park. I sure I could have figured it out, but it was nice to have someone offer.

He takes me to the the first site that I wrote down and no one is there . So then I text churtch and ask her if anyone is there yet. She was like yes, but they are at the other site : / Soo he walks me to the other site lol. I finally get there and I see three people walking towards me from the campsite. I say goodbye, give a hug to the other kid and thank him for helping and all that jazz. He leaves and I walk up to the group and introduce myself as Reekie. I was so nervous tho, but they seemed to like me right away! They were super nice!

I met lighthammer1979, redfernsandroses and his friend Melissa( Sry not sure if the spelling is correct). They were super nice and as the night went on we became closer. We got to talking and Found out a lot of different things about one another. redfernsandroses and I got to talking about different bands and metalocalypse... hahaha. We were quoting it a lot. It made me think of my bestie! I really wish she was there, but I am sure she will be at the next one. I found out about the plans when she was here in may, so her plans didn't match up with the plans. lol lighthammer1979 was super nice as well.. he was very friendly and kept conversation going. Also the girl Melissa was super nice too, she was very quiet but she said her part once in while! I felt awesome at that point, everyone was very welcoming and made me feel special!

That was all that showed up that night. Except when churtch came by after work and dropped off some stuff for us,chatted with us for 30min and then she went home. I think she had the right idea to head home that night. It stormed the whole night. It poured and stormed basically from the hour after she left until like 5am on Saturday! it was ridiculous! We tried to entertain our selves and help us forget about our misfortune by being complete silly heads. We stayed up meowing at each other and making jokes! We finally did get to sleep, and in the morning our stuff was drenched/ soaked. Everything was siting in a puddle of water. >.< that kinda sucked but I had to stay cool and remind myself that I was camping. things unexpected always happen when you camp! So I just tried to not let it upset me, even though I didn't have any clothes because everything was soaked. lol All four of us slept basically all day! we want to have the energy for everyone else later that night lol. we definitely did not want to be the party poopers! lol

Around 3pm Rosaleigh and her man showed up, and she brought Zohra ! I was so excited to finally get to meet her as well! We didn't really get to talk much since she had to attend her friend' s band show, but I hope we meet again and get to talk more. She seemed awesome and looked very pretty!
At first Rosaleigh didn't think she was going to stay as well, I would have been kinda upset if she would have left. because then getting completely soaked in the tent the night before would have seemed worthless, if everyone left ya know?.. I am glad she stayed though. I think everyone had a good time. the party got really going at like 7pm that night. People were talking more and drinking! I was just watching everyone get silly cause they were drunk! lol I got to meet a lot of different people. It just was a good night after it all. I hope that everyone liked hanging with me as much I as like hanging with them! I would love to do something like that again!

Then today I went shopping with my sister and did some "Sissy bonding time" as she would say. It was nice to spend a little time with my sister. Sometimes we both get busy and forget to spend time with each other. : /

Basically that has been my awesome weekend!
