TODAY = FUCKING RIDICULOUS = SNOW

I'm really into the new Albert Hammond, Jr album Yours To Keep. I was somewhat of a Strokes fan but I like this album ten times better. I'm not going to lie here, some of the songs do sound like the Strokes but I guess that is to be expected from their rhythm guitarist. The songs that are different are absolutely great. Favorite song has got to be Everybody Gets A Star which sounds like a Strokes song but I still love it. I still like the Strokes so no harm no foul.
I am so so so tired of cold weather. I repeat, so so so TIRED of COLD weather. Spring/Summer where are you? Wherever you are, please arrive soon!

I feel the need to go in a completely different directions now -> -> -> -> -> -> Women.
I guess this goes for people in general but I mostly am speaking about the relationships I've had. I think I put way to much emphasis on what I think others should be like. Then, when people are not who I expect them to be it becomes a total let down. I see two reasons for this: 1.) I rush into things and 2.) I'm way too influenced by pop culture. Moreover, I am too influenced by what I see going on around me, be it with my friends or in the media.. One example is film. I'm actually laughing about this right now because somehow the movie that comes to mind is High Fidelity. Totally all about fucking relationships, RIGHT. Anyway, then I remember the scene at the beginning when John Cusack's character ROB is wondering whether music influenced people. Same thing here....just with pop culture I guess, if that makes sense. Bottom line - I just need to go with flow and stop expecting something great....that's what I've always heard atleast - the good stuff happens when you're not looking for it.
EDIT: I would just like to say, with regards to the last paragraph, that I never post any of these thoughts on the net. Sorry for the whining...
