Well I let my agoraphobia get the best of me for some time. But Im back so I guess thats good. Thought Id do a fast little update.
We were about to go to closing on a house and to make a very long story short... the seller didnt own the house. This whole drama took place over the past 5 months. what a waist of life.
We have been looking and we have an other house to check out tonight. Wish us luck.
We moved my grandparents to a senior living place. They stopped cooking for themselves and wanting to do stuff like house cleaning. It was ok for the time that we were all living together but w me and Dan looking to get a house of our own, it was going to become a big problem. The place is sooooo nice. I wish I could live there. Their room is really nice, it looks like a nice hotel room. They even have their own tv unit and sofa from living here with us. Their room gets clean and beds made every day. Wash gets done once a week w/ ironing. 3 really nice meals a day. a cute little kitchen filled with snacks, a media room, game room, arts and crafts room, library with computers, bingo room, salon (yes they come 2 times a week and do nails once a week), nurse's station open 24/7, a super nice dinning room w a privet room you can rent for dinners and parties, and a big main sitting room w a piano, tv (with Wii), fire place, fish tanks, bar and so on. they have a bus that takes groups of people on trips and out shopping. A car to take them to Dr appointments. They have a ton new friends and there is always something to do.
They had a hard time not being at home at first but all in all i think they really like it. They understand that as much as we all love one an other, its not fair for me to have to take care of them 24/7 when Im 25 and trying to start my life. I miss them not being just down the steps but its also a relief that I dont feel like I have to be home by 7pm to make sure they eat dinner. I can walk there from home in under 10 mins. =)
Dogs are fine. Same old same old. Deacon isnt afraid of the rain anymore now that his crate is next to Angie's. She keeps him safe lol. Brice just turned 6! Verona is 5 now!! And the pits are about to turn 4 in about a month. Wow where did the time go?
ok well its time to go take a nap. (dogs had me up at 4am bc of the wind. had to go out back and check it out b4 they went back to sleep) then its packing some more boxes of stuff we dont really use but want to keep when we move. We want to be mostly packed if something goes well with one of the houses we are looking at.
