In the end, I learned much more about my grandfather at his wake than I did in his life. He was very reserved, even towards his closest family... makes me wonder if that's how I'll end up being.
Also learned: how heavy a coffin is. Sure there were six of us pall bearers (the impact of the signifigance of that duty hasn't hit me yet), but we all take from the same genestock and are all tall and thin... solid manufacture, those coffins. Caskets... whatever they're called by the people who make them. Ultimately they call the shots on nomenclature, as it appears on the invoice.

better news - my boss asked me today what I thought my title would be at our office. I didn't realize I had a title besides "employee".
Well, guess who - after 10 years in the biz - is FINALLY getting business cards with his name on them. Daaaaamn, don't you know it. And my title... heehee... Project Manager. I do agree.
Now I have to lobby to get my B.Arch put after my name, so I can really fake people into thinking I'm smart.
As soon as I get them in, I'll sent one out to anyone who wants one. Maybe. It depends how much personal information is on there... I don't want to go giving away my secret identity now...
And I just KNOW you are all as excited as I am that the new Canadian Football season has started up. Wow, what an action packed year this will be. Who will be able to dethrone the reigning champs The Montreal Allouettes? Je ne c'est pas.
My new favorite CFL team of all time is now the Saskatchewan Roughriders (not to be confused with the now defunct Ottawa Rough Riders... sigh, I miss those days). Saskatchewan will forever kick ass in the Lord's sight because on their roster they have #5 Kevin Glenn and #24 Jackie Mitchell and last week they had both of them, side by side, in the same camera shot. That, as they say, is Bytchyn' Wykk'd.
