A few weeks back myself and a few friends decided to go away for a few days before I headed back to college. The destination for our little holiday, Ballinamore Co. Leitrim. And it was deadly I can't wait to go back. The first day we drove up to Enniskillen to collect Bobert from the bus station cause he couldn't come with us the night before, and I needed to buy a couple tyres for the car, in the hope it would pass the nct the following week (which it didn't ). While walking about we came across this wonderful example of motoring coolness
Once we did those few bits we drove to Monea Castle for a look about. It was not far outside Enniskillen and we didn't want to go home just yet.
Castle's are cool, we should start building them again, so much more impressive than a normal house. Get some peasants to lord it over and your elected.
I'm sick of that fucking hoodie every picture of me recently I'm wearing it, its clean I swear!
Binne displeased us so she was sent to the dark dank creepy hole in the ground
But she escaped and stabbed Bob with a really sharp twig
On the way back to Ballinamore we stopped at a pub called "The Three Way Inn" to take pictures beside the sign, because we are that childish. None of these I will post because their just wrong on so many levels. Back in Ballinamore we relaxed with a Chinese and a game of Scrabble before a wild pub crawl in the town. But since it was a Wednesday night in the middle of nowhere it wasn't that wild. We walked to the far end of the town then worked our way back through the pubs, each of which had less and less people as we went along. Last place had an aul couple watching Ocean's 13 on tv, once that was over they drank up and left, leaving us by ourselves. On the wall was a news clipping of the moon landing, don't know how that's relevant but I thought I'd throw it in.
Next day we drove to the far side of Carrick-on-Shannon to go to this place called Boda Borg right beside Lough Key
Boda Borg
Its kinda like the Crystal Maze, full of rooms in which you have to solve puzzles. We spent 4 hours here running around trying to make our way through as many of the rooms as we could. What was class was we had the whole place to ourselves no one else were another that day. Next time though we said we'd try being there earlier because you'd need the whole day to get the most out of the place. Downside of Boda Borg was the fitness level needed, mine is non-existent so I was in bits by the end of it. Its not funny how unfit I am.
All in all the trip to Leitrim and surrounding areas was delightful

Aw man, Boda Borg looks like a good meet. How fit do you need to be to do it? I did a hike there two days ago, body still hasnt recovered yet.
