Long time, no update. Well, things have been pretty much the same for the past month. Stuff is still breaking all the time in our ghetto-tastic apartment, I am still unemployed and looking and I am still with the boy. I have been doing some freelance design to pay the bills and have secured a client that has been providing me steady work (for now, at least). The puppy and the kitten are getting along well and even sleep next to each other now. Last night I caught Lex all curled up on the couch with Vinyl (the pup) and Jen (my roomie, Vinyl's mommie).

I have regained motivation for personal design projects and am now working on sprucing up my portfolio and website in hopes of getting a kick-ass job. Jen and I are planning on moving to NY in 2 years so I want to get a kick-ass job here to fatten up my resume before the move. She has changed her major to journalism, has two years left for her Bachelors and then wants to move to NY for Grad School. She wants to work for a magazine as do I, so maybe we will end up at the same place. At any rate, we have a lot of work to do in the next two years in preparation for the big move.

Speaking of work, I should get back to it!
