Hello all,
I have a few days off so I thought I would update my blog. Things have been going ok here, just working a lot. It seems like there is never a shortage of sick people in the ER. I guess it's a good thing that work keeps me busy because home life is pretty boring. My buddy Oz keeps me company. Osborne is my "little" buddy. He's a 180 pound English Mastiff. He's been my buddy for about a year and a half now. He will turn 2 years old in February. A lot of people ask me if I named him after Ozzy Osborne and I guess that would be cool for a site like SG, but actually he's named after the long-time coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Tom Osborne. Here's a couple pics of him the day I got him when he was about 10 weeks old..
He thinks this is his couch. He's so spoiled!
In other news, I've been through a couple huge, marathon tattoo sessions the last few weeks. My buddy and tattoo artist Jimmy does some incredible work. We spent about 7 hours adding some color to my dragon 3 weeks ago and then spent an incredible 13 hours doing color on my wizard last week. Needless to say I was hurting for a few days after that one. We have another session scheduled tomorrow so I will post updates when I recover from that one lol.
Here's a couple pics
On another bright note, my girl will be coming to visit the day after Christmas for a week. She's never been to Chicago so I have to make some plans to show her the sights. This long distance thing kinda sucks. She lives in Kansas and I'm in Indiana.
I guess that's about it for now. I've had a lot of fun meeting new folks here on SG. Thanks for making this "old guy" feel welcome.

thanks for sharing all those great pictures! As a fellow "old timer" here myself, it's nice to see someone turn up who bucks the demographic trend a little.

Thanks dmac, us old folks have to stick together. Especially us "odd docs".
