Have been feeding my addiction for eBay and just realized I have spent over three thousand dollars on antique copper cookware , solid silver French tea and coffee services , two hundred year old silver English serving spoons , a Mickey Mouse Michael Graves Alessi Kettle with a matching Pepper grinder , a carved chinese solid silver walking stick handle , and a miriad of other ' things'...beautiful sculptural forms like an original Amish 1840 copper apple butter kettle..and more..cant wait to get them all here but a part of the drag in buying from Eirope and the Americas is the cost of postage and the long period of delivery if they have to travel by sea because they are so heavy... a single confectionaires solid copper bowl which is two feet [ 600mm] wide weighs a staggering 19 pounds !!! Anyhow , time to pull my Taurean horns in again and think locally....eBay is such an attractive slut to share a late night glass of wine with...not to mention a joint or three.....but then again ...how can anyone live without an afternoons cup of tea poured from a beautiful silver pot ... all the way from France... anyhow ..must away ..some of my auctions are about to close....
If I knew how to add pictures here i'd show you some of my spoils....
