Said I'd never do it again but of course I did...Christmas and all the bullshit that goes with it....left everything till the last minute as usual , and then went out at break neck speed and hurled money at everyone who had something to sell ..As it was Sam's 15th birthday on the 22nd it was a double headed adventure with fortunes being spent in the Apple shop on these brilliant miniature speakers which power up his iPod , a iSight camera which is crystal clear and full screen size , some other gadgets which I cant even remember , a new Spanish guitar , numerous other expensive gifts not to mention brand new video phones [ wow are they fun !!] and a ton of rich food which everytime I open the fridge makes me wince ....wish I could send it all over to Somalia or Bangladesh to feed those poor bastards whose role in life seems to be the downtrodden...a friend of mine just met a beautiful Eritrean girl in her home country and then went back and married her , so she is coming to Australia in February , the poor darling ...what a culture shock she'll get...he is a beauty / fashion photographer and I think he can see a whole new passion in his work with her as the model...only hope she doesnt discover cocaine and smack and end up like this gorgeous Somalian Princess , who became an Exotic dancer and ended up in a dumpster one Saturday night ... stone cold dead...Anyhow , back to Festive things...I got ONE present ...6 beautiful handpainted wine glasses from this female friend of mine...I break glasses at an alarming rate...so they'll come in handy..although for some reason Im losing my interest in booze....Hope all those I have met on this site are happy and have enjoyed the Christmas Season..we celebrate it bigtime here as its also our Summer time and besides Australians dont idolize Turkeys like th Yanks....we just eat them....which brings me to the Turkey I cooked in a brand new oven ...perfection...moist and delicious...now what to do with the kilos of dead turkey that are left... and the ham ... and all that fruit and chocolate ...
