holy cow, an update.

i want to update because today is a good day and i want a record of it so i can look back and say "i had a good day that one time."

i worked some more on my foster p. wallace story today and i'm getting really excited about it. i realized when i started writing it earlier this week how much i love creating characters. they don't exist, don't exist, don't exist, and then wham! there they are in all their glorious complexity and they're mine and i can walk around with them and ask them questions to which i already know the answer and they love me because i am their god. i think that foster has to be involved in an international crime ring and his wife, queenie, is a mechanic and she falls in love with a jazz singer named sparrow or lark or something like that and they have an affair. and then somehow queenie has to find out about the crime ring thing and confront foster who then has to bring her into it somehow. if anyone has any good ideas for a name for a female jazz singer, tell me tell me.

in other news, i'm excited and scared because i think that there's this girl who might possibly have a crush on me. first time, ever. that i know of. it makes me tingly.

and that's pretty much the long and short of it.
