INSOMNIA: 18 days and counting...
I felt really good about getting to sleep last night, I ate dinner with some friends and had a belly full of food and felt nice and sleepy. Then my bestest girlfriend called, and we proceeded to have this depressing conversation about how our jobs suck, we work too many hours and don't have fun any more. Then we moved on to how it's been years since either one of us had a *real* boyfriend, and we decided that it's just not gonna happen at our age.
So then we talked about how empty, lonely, and unfullfilling our lives were going to be. Great stuff.
So, yeah, no sleep.
Besides being kinda fuzzy headed during the days and noticing a decrease in memory function, I am suffering from feelings of anxiety, panic, and experiencing some underpinnings of parania.
Other than that, I'm having a great day.

I can appreciate your conversation with your friend about work and relationships, or lack thereof. I am just recovering from a 10 year relationship myself, and am a bit cynical about my personal future, not to mention that of the world, our country, etc... (don't EVEN get me started!)
Have a great weekend!
