Bout time I updated this thing.
Well, I finished my first semester of College, and it kicked ass. I am finally back home in Escondido, and I am already missing the Bay Area. So much has happened already.
New Girlfriend. Never been happier. I love her, she loves me, and I am keeping this one. Never thought I could ever feel this safe and happy with anyone. Hope this one lasts! *knocks on wood*. Oh yeah...the sex is Great!!
Saw Seether in concert. Seeing them play "Fine Again" live was one of the greatest moments in my life, since it is...I dunno, my favorite fucking song in the world. I was too stoked to see them to mosh because I was afraid I would miss something. Rock on!
Job hunting can suck my balls. I hate running up and down this blasted town looking to employment. I have applied to about 17 different places, and nary a call. I have got to be qualified for at least one of these places! Fuuuuuck!!
Comic-Con is coming, and I am trying to scrounge up moolah for it. But if I am going to Ozzfest, Im not sure if I am going to have enough cash left. We shall see. I am aiming to have two jobs, so time will tell
I picked up Godsmack's new album, "IV". At first, I didnt really like it, and I was really bummed because I am addicted to "Faceless", and I fell in love with "Awake" and their self-titled album, and even their acoustic album. But then I got under the album's proverbial skin and discovered the underpinnings of the songs in it, and I cant stop listening to it now. I also 'aquired' In Flame's new record "Come Clarity". Every so often, my ears will be blessed with such rockage that it changes my perspective on the band, my life and/or the world. Some of these albums are Soil "Scars", Metallica "Master of Puppets", Godsmack "Faceless", Seether "Disclaimer", Nocturnal Rites "Shadowland", Nirvana "Nevermind", A Perfect Circle "The 13th Step", and many many more including Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, Rise Against, Breaking Benjamin, and Disturbed. Now, In Flames joins their ranks. I am still taken aback every time I hear this album by just how much "Come Clearity" rocks. Its powerful, melodic, heavy, fast, harsh, momentous, and unrelenting. But it has the force of a chariot: you can tell someone is at the reigns, controlling the thunderous musical rage, transforming it into a grand testimant to the Netherlands and to Metal
Keep on Rockin!!
Oh yeah, I am still working on my No Regrets clothing line. I will have what I have done so far on my Deviant Art site. Hit me up if you are interested!
