i need to spend a bundle of money on replacing some parts on my car.
my girlfriend's father, bob, manages the part suppier for the shop i am now taking my car to.
the shop has agreed to use that supplier's parts if i procure them.
i got prices like $159, $73, and $400(ish) for the parts i need from the shop.
bob is getting them for me for $25, $11, and $125.
the moral of the story:
bob is the man.
he makes it so i don't have to spend my whole tax return on my car, and i can stay farther away from my "spending money on the piece of junk" limit. (yes, i said limit. i set that. on purpose.)
also, yesterday i realized that i have more money than debt.
does this mean i'm growing up? because that could be terrible...
but it does mean i get to play more, and i might get a real vacation this year. how exciting!
i'm off to bed.
