once when i was in the 10th grade, i took an aptitude test. it told me i should be someone who would inspire people--the two likely professions it gave me were writer and religious leader. sometimes i think about that, when i really get hopeless about what i need to do with my life, about what i want to become. near that hopelessness, i found a quote in a novel...
"... we are the instruments of one another's salvation, and only by the hope that we give to others do we lift ourselves out of the darkness into light."
then i think, how many people have i really given hope?
addition 2pm-ish:
have you ever suddenly wanted something so badly that you found yourself barely able to stand, and sobbing? yeah, that's me, right now.
