conversation went something like this:
me: were you hiding in that doorway so you didn't see me changing? i was in my closet anyway...
him: no, i didn't even know you were changing... want to try that again?
me <lifting up the front of my shirt>: sure! but only if you're watching!
him <looking down, muttering>: ... teasing me... not nice...
spott: she's not teasing.
!
there really isn't a straight enough face to accurately enough describe the serious way spott said "she's not teasing," so the smiley will just have to do.
the thing is, the "him" is a fairly conservative "i'm saving myself for the girl i'll marry" kind of guy, so usually he just blushes and doesn't respond... of course, i have the compulsive urge to flirt with him every time he's around. to be fair, i did warn him that i was going to push his boundaries hard and often. he doesn't have problems with it, as long as i don't cross any lines. i've gotten fairly proficient at the pushing-but-not-crossing thing ... it helps that he is VERY attractive--great smile, body of a marine, well-dressed, completely charming and intelligent, and always smells good--so teasing (which i think is just plain mean, unless the teased is a fan) doesn't even come into it. following through would be just plain fun . anyhow, i must be pretty good at pushing his buttons. i've seen that boy hug pillow too often to count on my fingers.
and spott doesn't blame me one bit. she's known him longer than i by far. had she had the confidence, she'd have been after him long since.
egad.
