its been a bit of a challenge getting up in the morning to go to work every day. for a while it was ok... some freak accident must have made my boss not an asshole for a while. maybe he is bi-polar. either that or he is just prone to being an asshole... those could be the only 2 explanations. i am really looking forward to moving.
i've been watching movies with spott a lot lately, and i think since the beginning of the month i've gotten through 3 books. the movies are... doom, immortal (weird combo of a few different comic book series), the man in the iron mask, flight plan, never been kissed... i think i'm missing something. oh well. books include but are not limited to
: the knife of dreams, joy luck club, a story that a friend of mine wrote that is yet to be copyrighted, and parts of the bible and angels and demons. i've been doing too much waiting, i think... i tend to read when i'm waiting for things.
my car is non-driveable currently. it still works, but the electrical is screwy and the turn signals are officially dead. since it has been cold and snowy, i am not about to drive around sticking my arm out the window whenever i want to turn... spott's dad had pity and volunteered to take a look at it, and i'm hoping to get the car to him this weekend. i'm also hoping i don't end up spending my entire tax return on "sudden unexpected expenses" with this car. it would be the first time in years i actually got to save some.
anyhow, i feel like i've been kicked hard squarely in the back. chiro appt tomorrow, thank the gods. i'm going to take drugs and lay down.
