i officially have 34 hours in for the week, and i'm not dead yet.
*note dollar signs in eyes*
i have 1 more definite 6-day week, next week, and perhaps 2 weeks after that will be a long one too. the store i'm filling in sundays for is having some trouble getting their new applications through the system. got to love technology. ha. awesome.
elections were yesterday. seems this place is VOLUNTARILY going down the shitter. PLEASE, IF YOU AREN'T OF RETIREMENT AGE, ARE ABLE TO WORK IN ANY WAY AND YOU DON'T, DON'T EXPECT THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY YOU. everyone going by that would probably solve this county's problems. can anyone tell i'm a firm believer in "you get what you work for"? i'd say its pretty simple. all the people who COULD be filling the open service industry jobs around here, who TURN THEM DOWN because the county pays them more to either have one more kid or sit around "waiting for something better"... yeah, here people on unemployment are allowed to turn down even decent job offers. they should be broke. because of the tax the shit out of everybody, especially businesses, and spread the money around to people who dont really deserve it mentality, we have THE highest taxes in the country, and people are leaving. i have to agree with the ones who have already left. i cant wait until i can do the same.
but as dennis miller would put it: "that's just my opinion. i could be wrong."
it is official. spott & i are moving to the rochester area when our lease is up. teapot is taking the necessary steps to make sure she's outta here before then. i can't wait! perhaps when we go out there, because we're a bit more prepared to move this time, we will find some place to live for more than a year at a time. i would really like to make somewhere "home". somewhere i could imagine myself raising kids. im tired of living in apartments or even houses i dont expect to stay in. it is time for a home a little more stable.
well, wish me luck and not boredom in a good way for tomorrow. another 11 hour shift for me

I move to Medina Saturday. The whole painting thing is a long story, but I will update within in the next few days and explain. They rejected my set too, so I will be posting some pics from that as well. I was suprised they didn't want to buy the set, I think it was pretty spiffy. Oh well. You and Spott should come visit me sometime.
