we made spott wings and a tail last night/this morning. they look fairly bat-ish. they are fleece, and the wings are cut so the tips are banded to her wrists while the tops are tacked onto her shirt with thread. they are dark blue and painted with white glow-in-the-dark paint to look like the bones--sort of. they need tweaking. but right now, they are good enough for her work costume day. i did a bit of make-up for her to make her face a touch more angular. it could have been better with real face paints. perhaps she'll bring some home today...
