okay so please explain this to me. how is it that i've been in hong kong for over two months and have had literally 3 days of sun???? it's been raining the ENTIRE time i've been here and as i type this, the biggest storm i have ever seen/heard is going on outside. lightening and thunder simultaneously. just over a month ago i witnessed the heaviest rain i'd ever seen, 200mm of rain in an hour... trying to get a cab at 6 in the morning in that was an absolute joke.
i do have to say though, the rain is completely reflecting my mood as of late.... everyone around me has probably grown tired of my bitching and whining already, so i will spare you all the boring bullshit details... instead, i will leave you with a photo.
as it rains so much... we drink. that would be 2 trays full of 30 vodka cranberries at under 40 CAD per tray. good times i look slightly overwhelmed by the number of drinks though. little did i know that six of the seven people i was there with would leave my friend and i with a tray and a half.... and being me, i don't waste anything. every single one of those drinks was demolished by us. i did not have a good day afterwards.
this however, was a great day. my friend decided to take her boat out when the forecast told us it would be sunny.... and sunny it was! i however did not manage to get a tan. how i spent 7 hours in the sun and came back with nothing is beyond me.
lol i'm going to go and watch the storm now, sorry once again for being a shitty journal entry-er.
ps. hkwench you rock. we need to do our hangout soon... take lots of happy pictures and not wallow in the shitness of life.

Nice boat - what takes you to Hong Kong?
i spent 4 years in southern china and the amt of summer rain storms was insane.
at least in HK you have good food and pubs to go to!
enjoy the heat!!
