I've been reading a lot of blogs recently and i think the blog homework is a fab way to share stories and get to know each other more :) so now i have some free time on my hands I'm going to start by giving the blog homework a go. I am terrible with continuity so if i miss a week i'm more inclined to maybe do two the next Haha.
"What inspired you to become a SuicideGirl?" (in your case, a Hopeful!)
I believe my obsession with SG began around the age of 15/16 when music, tattoos and metal music influenced and dominated my entire existence. Oh to be young again ;) Kat Von D, Hayleigh Williams and Julie Kennedy (LassSuicide) were just some of my idols at the time and it was the creative, out-going expressive attitudes that attracted me to the community. Becoming part of it however was a nerve wrenching thought and the lack of confidence and independence were easy enough excuses not to at least try.
New Years Eve 2016 - I mean we all make those yearly resolutions, we never stick to em, it goes well for a couple of weeks but when i decided to change the way i thought, i began to see myself in a different light. Unfortunately last year i split from a relationship that left me questioning everything i thought i knew about love, friendship and soul mates. I decided for once to, take a step back and focus on the only thing that mattered......me.....
I've been doing great ever since......
Building confidence, building my image and drive, setting goals and aiming high. That's why I'm sat here now writing this, chatting to members, meeting beautiful SG ladies and absolutely loving it! <3
Thank you once again to the suicide community for making me feel so welcome and loved. You guys are great!!
