Had a great day today, I got paid for work since February. Finally! Now I can afford the computer I bought a couple weeks ago when my previous computer crashed. I also made it official that I am taking the week off and won't be in until next week Tuesday. I need the break I'm spending it tonight drinking and fooling around on SG and forums, while writing letters. I am planning on taking a few trips down to Chicago and I've been inspired to take kind of a road trip to see if I can locate any of the areas mentioned in the book "Weird Wisconsin." I'm kind of fascinated with "haunted" places, and there are definitely some interesting stories there. I want to find the railroad crossing where supposedly a school bus got hit. According to the story, if you drive your car around so it is covered with dust and dirt, then pull up to the railroad tracks and turn of your engine. The children's spirits will come up to your car and pat their hands on your car doors windshield etc. and laugh and shout at you. When you look at your car later you will see the handprints they made. Spooooky.

Yeah, hopefully I'm not exiled from home for too long... but actually there are some good things about it too, so maybe this will inspire me to get out more often!
I'm excited about the upcoming SG get-togethers. It's looking very possible I'll get to meet Siv
