I haven't updated in a looooong time, yet now is not the best time either. I am pretty overwhelmed this semester with my one class. The problem is not really the one class though it is all going over my head at this point and I don't expect that to change. The problem is I have real trouble saying no. Due to that problem, my work load keeps increasing and increasing. This work load includes of course my research, teaching, preparing for a symposium I will present at in Texas, helping the professor in his work, proposals, meetings, maintaining the lab and equipment, writing papers, my qualifying exam (which should really be first in this list, I really wish it could be), etc. etc.
Unfortunately now I must continue work on my Statistical Thermodynamics course, unless someone can tell me the answers to the following equations:

As for the equations, I'd tell you the answers, but that would be cheating.
(Sorry for the brief comments, but my mind is feeling rather flighty right now.
