Just got back from a weekend at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. I can say I've finally had some kind of "vacation" this summer. My brother and I did our good deed for the month, helping a couple out of a pond they thought they could drive their Ranger through. After failing to get it running again, I towed it with my truck ALL the way back to the dune entrance so they could get more assistance. And after that tow, all I gotta say is, "I LOVE my truck!!!" That thing can do anything I want it to do (well, except the dishes). Other than that, it was a relaxing weekend, kicking back at the campsite, cooking, drinking, and shootin' the shit. Which reminds me, if you go camping anywhere, avoid the hell outta State Parks. They're a ripoff and the park "rangers" they got working there probably couldn't get jobs as greeters at K-mart.
And oh yeah, that gal I told you guys about, I didn't meet her off here, but we'll see what happens in the long-run anyhow....
