karaoke on monday was lots of fun. there were a tonne of people there and i got to meet a couple of new people as well. it was nice to see Dagger and Lisseth and jules again. i miss them all. we are going to have a girls clubbing night soon i hope. i also got to very briefly seeLycoris and her man. i'm so happy for the two of them and very excited for them as well about their new baby coming soon

yesterday (teusday) i started a new job at boston pizza as a bartender. it kinda sucked but it was something at least. heck...i need work right? then i got home and i got a call back for an interview at Hakim Optical. My interview was this morning and I got the job!

woooo hooo! say hello to Rebekah Reuser, Optical Technician. The base pay is great, not to mention that i get commission on top of it. free glasses after my three month probabtion period is up and then after one year i get FULL benefits. It's a real grown up job that i can see myself sticking with for quite some time. i'm VERY happy.

i'm going to go and start some laundry, return my work shir to boston pizza and then go to the movies with justin later this afternoon! woo hoo!
