so as i said in my last entry, things are looking up and going much better.
i'm realizing things about myself lately and working as hard as i can at makign myself happy again and doing things for myself that i find enjoyment in and get fulfilment out of. i'm so eternally greatful that i have someone as supportive as justin in my life. and i love all of my friends who make me smile and make me happy. and also thank you to everyone on the site that give me encouragement and kind words. it really does mean so much. i appreciate each and every one of you.
my weekend was great. it started on thursday night. i worked until 9:30 at the abbey (where i bartend and waitress) and then justin met me at work and we got smashed together. it was nice to just sit in the bar and drink pint after pint and talk to some of the regulars, other bar tenders and also my step sister who is the manager there.
i was given two tickets on thursday night from one of the regulars for the blue jays game on friday so...friday night we went to the game and had a blast cheering on the jays against chicago. we had really good seats in the 20th row or so. and they won 8-2! i'm not a big fan of baseball and i hadn't been to a jays game since i was little but it was still a tonne of fun and something different to do for a change.
i had to work on saturday and then i came home and got ready for the gala. lisseth, martini, kingofnopants, helena, valdis, bo, michelle and little timmy ska and i went to hosu for sushi before hand and then got to the kathedral at around 9ish where justin met me.
it was great to see everyone else and to finally meet SOOOOO many people that i've talked to on here yet never met in person. it was nice to see all of you. and it was nice to meet some new people as well. everyone looked so beautiful and everyone seemed in such a great mood. thank you everyone for making the night such a success.
yesterday i worked again and then justin and i went for a nice long walk in high park. we literally walked around the ENTIRE park. we saw all of the animals and the water and the playground and some cool sculptures and the gardens and fountains and waterfalls and pathways and chess house and everything. it was so beautiful out and it was nice to spend some time together just wandering around hand in hand, stopping once in a while to sit on a bench and make out.
i had class this morning, to which only about 10 people showed up to, i'm assuming because of the ttc strike. on the way to school i walked justin to his jeep and see him off to work and it turns out he had a flat tire. it's been slowly deflating recently and over the past few days sitting on the street it just decided to deflate completely i guess. so....i was a little late for class and learned how to change a tire which was fun.
anyways....i have to get some laundry done before i have to go to work at 5.
