Blagareflagearafhsoas.....SHIT I hate Arizona!! I've never known a place that can be so accessible that is so devoid of life. If I weren't so pissed off I'd just walk into the wastes and die of boredom. I'm basically in a leadership school right now and it's nick-named Beer NOC (Non-commissioned officer course), so the only thing that is keeping me mildly sane is the amount of alcohol I take in on an almost daily basis.
Tonight should have been fun; go out, have a few beers with friends, join in an amateur pool tournament, have a few more beers....fun, you'd think, right? Well......you'd be FUCKING WRONG. This old battle axe that was running the damned thing wanted to be a nazi about making sure people were there right at the goddamned time she was calling the games to begin. And if you didn't hear her, well then she would bitch about it, and decree that you would be kicked out if it happened again. Fine, whatever. But it did not stop there. My roommate was sitting not four feet behind her while she was calling games, when he went up to her to ask if he was coming up soon, she began to chastise him for not hearing her calling his name. I wanted to break a bottle over her head, I was sitting next to him and did not hear a damned thing. She continued this streak of borderline senility, a mix of bad hearing and faulty memory, throughout the night. Ending in asking if my roommate, who had to call another player in from outside to play, if he had told said player that she was cussing him out for not being around when she called him. My roommate told her, and he is an honest fellow, that he only relayed her annoyance to the player, not that she was cursing him. She proceeded to berate my friend for falsely (not really) telling the other player that she had cursed his name for not being around.
After she turned around and left muttering nonsense about lying, I had to get away from the crabby old bitch before I gave her a piece of my mind and the glass I was drinking from.
I mean, I don't normally condone violence against old people, but she was about to end up in a shallow grave after a long and painful night. And it's a big damned desert out here.
I'm done for the night, it's rare that I get this mad about something so simple, but it was only a local billiards tournament, get a damned grip and realize that it's small potatoes.
Hope everyone else had/has a better night/day/week.
Edit;
Wonderful view from the top, too bad the oxygen is extra thin.
