So I went over to my ex-girlfriends today to help her out with some computer stuff and it was wierd. Like creepy wierd.
I think it's because when we broke up we had been living toghether for four years and had a lot of stuff we had bought toghether, most of which she took. Which was fine. At the time she was broke and I wasn't, so i could afford to buy a new couch and coffee table and stuff.
So there I was in this apartment filled with stuff that I used to at least half own, and other stuff that was simply mine like my old TV from college. Paintings on the wall that used to hang in our bedroom, little knicknacks that had been in the living room, books that used to be on my bookshelf. It was like going back somewhere you used to live, except you never actually lived there. Or like looking back on this huge old chunk of your life, except it wasn't your life anymore.
All in all it was not a pleasant experience.

Have you tried finding a job on craigslist? I posted an ad for a receptionist position this morning and by lunchtime I rec'd about 20 responses. I was suprised I got that many... and I have 29 more days til my ad expires, too.
Got any plans for this long weekend?
