I should update more often. Most times I don't feel like I have much worth saying though, and that an increase in journal updates would lessen the chance that any of them would be read. But then, does it really matter?
Went to Dante's the other night. Something about crossing the river always puts me in a bad mood, I don't know why... but I was irritable and lonely all night, the one exception being that hippomonki was there to keep me company for a little while. But I can't escape the fact that I generally hate smoky crowded environments.
Last week's Pirate was a different matter, I had a great time; although I drank enough to make me sleep through my alarm and nearly be late for work. Work that is currently taking up 6 days a week for me. I'm sure it will all be worth it when I get paid on the 20th... but in the meantime I'm always exhausted and/or stressed. Today is my one day off, and I'm determined to get a little relaxation in before I head back to the grind tomorrow morning. I've got Harry Potter books to escape into, got a new Hedwig sticker on my car (yes!!) and some movies from the library. Now all I need is to borrow Ryan's boyfriend for the evening. And some Mandarin food. Who's with me?
Oh, and I got REM tickets. Effervescence.

It's a 90% odds that I will be missing out on pirate this week.. Maybe next week as well. But, you know.. the show is two thursdays away.. So even if I forget, I can just pop over to my apt and make a copy. I live eight blocks away.
