today Rain and i went down to the Multnomah County Courthouse. i got ordained by the Universal Life Church last night, hoping to go down there today and help a few same-sex couples tie the knot. Rain was ordained a few days ago, in preparation. it was pretty overwhelming to behold once we got there, the joy in the air was incredible. i was too nervous to actually perform any ceremonies, but Rain married six wonderful adorable happy couples. and i took pictures.
