Ain't it always the way, though?
I've been planning on selling my car for a little over a month now, and was about to start cleaning it up and putting the ads out when, of course, someone broke into it. In front of my house, no less. First time this has happened in the 2+ years I've lived in this house. Grumble. They didn't take anything, apparently. They looked, it seems, but found only my old Winco receipts and a Luna bar left by my sister in the glove compartment yeras ago and some auto manual forms and some pens. All were there. I wonder what they hoped for? At least they could have had the good sense to make off with my Homestar Runner window decals, while they were at it. I'm glad I don't keep that much of anything in the car anymore.
I've got an appointment in an hour to have the window replaced. It's a $145 job. I am not too bothered by the whole thing, really, for once it's done and the car is sold, it'll hardly make a difference. One step closer to living the simple life. Then I'll just be counting the days until my cell phone contract runs out... oh sweet sweet August.
Plus I'll have a bit of money lying around. Time for a new tattoo. Time to trade in the old lappy for one of these. Drool.
Love despite it all, my friends.

cottser:
Damn. Well hope the window repair goes fine, and hooray for simple living.
hansel:
You got the window fixed. Now sell the car.
